Made using the cicim weaving technique, this vintage kilim stands out with its raised, embroidered-like patterns. Unlike standard kilims, cicim textiles feature a distinct front and back, created by adding a third decorative thread to the warp and weft. This technique results in beautifully textured designs with rich visual contrast. While woven primarily with natural sheep's wool, some sections may include goat hair for enhanced durability and texture.
Estimated to be 50–60 years old, this handwoven Turkish rug is in excellent condition and ready for use. It makes a perfect addition to any room—use it as a floor rug to bring warmth and character, or display it as a wall hanging to highlight its cultural artistry.
