This vintage Esme kilim from Uşak, Turkey, is a striking example of Anatolian textile heritage. With a rich history of 60–70 years, this handwoven rug remains in excellent condition, ready to be used as a floor covering or decorative wall hanging.
The kilim features two deeply symbolic Anatolian motifs:
🟢 Tree of Life (Yasam Agaci): Located at the center, this motif symbolizes life, eternity, and a spiritual connection between the heavens and the earth.
🟡 Earring (Kupe): Found on both ends, these hourglass-like symbols represent elegance, femininity, and cultural richness—often associated with bridal adornment in Turkish tradition.
